It’s Banbury Canal Festival weekend, and we couldn’t have asked for a better start.
Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome guests from our twin town of Ermont, France to Banbury. After breakfast at Gail’s, the day included a visit to Upton House and a trip to Stratford-upon-Avon – with plenty more planned over the weekend.
Today and tomorrow you’ll also find the Banbury & District Twinning Association at the Canal Festival.
Come and say hello, find out a little more about Banbury’s twin towns and what we get up to throughout the year – and have a go at our tombola while you’re there. There are plenty of prizes to be won, and every go helps support the work of the Association.
The Canal Festival runs across Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October, with boats, live music, entertainment, food, stalls and activities throughout the canal side and town centre.
